Microsoft will end free support for Windows 10 in mid-October – including critical security updates. Continuing to use Windows 10 after this date increases the risk of security vulnerabilities and, in many cases, leads to non-compliance with IT security standards.
As a result, businesses are being forced to either upgrade to Windows 11 or purchase extended support – currently offered by Microsoft through the Extended Security Update (ESU) program.
